What a great day today as Branch 24 welcomed Sue Milner and Al Stayura as they made a stop on their cross country tour of the Footsteps of Canadian Heroes. We were joined by Sharon Davis, members of the UN/NATO group along with veterans from Branch 24. Thanks to Jessica Fancy-Landry MP and Suzanne Lohnes-Croft Mayor of Mahone Bay for helping to greet Sue and Al. Branch 24 presented them with a plaque developed by a veteran with the names of the 158 Canada lost in Afghanistan which they will proudly display as their journey of Remembrance continues.
