April 9th is Vimy Ridge Day. Vimy Ridge Day is a day to commemorate the deaths and casualties of members of the Canadian Corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge, which took place during First World War. This year members of Branch 24 Royal Canadian Legion and the military will gather at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgewater at 11am on April 8th to mark the 105th anniversary of the battle. The public is welcome to attend.
